  1. SambaPrefs is an configuration tool used for maneging network shares on
  2. AmigaOS40, this program aids inn the task of adding/removing 
  3. directory's for sharing. it's is used as front end for Samba network service, 
  4. and it offer the same kind of configuration benefits as
  5.  any other configuration tool for Workbench40 (use/save).

  7. (About Samba is network service used one Unix,Linux and Amiga,
  8. it's used to distribute directory shares on local network, 
  9. it offers password encryption, user and group access, 
  10. and it's compatible whit Microsoft network, 
  11. it's based on the smb protocol standard used by Microsoft,)

  13. to install the program drag it over to prefs directory,
  14. and copy the replacement smb.conf to your samba config directory. 
  15. Or you can add a new line to an existing config file
  16.  
  17. include = /env/smb.conf 
  18.  
  19. and your done!!!

  23. A problem found whit evens, button click / window drag, the stack of 
  24. events are never emptied, the result is quite annoying, 
  25. last even executed and not the current etc. This is now fixed.
